This podcast's inspiration--with apologies for the potentially maudlin vibe--is death itself. The longer any of us are on this earth, the more we see friends and family fall away. As age advances, this effect increases, happening more and more quickly. Like the Announcer in this drama, at some point we all meet our end, and can only hope that we offered some element of goodness and beauty along the way.
